My Story ...
Hey guys!!! My name is Sara Gray :) Thanks so much for checking out my page! I have been singing for a very long time...my whole life! The first time I ever sang in public was when I was three years old on a cruise ship. I sang a song from the sound track of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - this is not a joke. I was obsessed with them. I still love Donatello :) So, I'm singing this song and doing some sweet dance moves that were pretty amazing for a three-year old and that's how it all started. The reason I am telling all of you this is because, I don't remember me without singing. It's who I am. It's what I love! It makes me so happy!
So, even though singing was my passion, this woman in my life - better known as my Mother - told me I had to have a back up plan, something to rely on. She said this singing dream of mine and becoming famous was pretty unrealistic. I appreciate her wisdom and her want for me to be successful regardless of what I'm doing! Guess it was a smart idea...love you Mom! So, thanks to her encouragement I am now a Registered Nurse for Children's National Medical Center! There Mom - there's your stability :) But now that school is done and I have a job, it's time for music!! I can feel it and it's something that I am craving to do. So I figured, why not start a band, play cover songs, do my original songs, have fun and see where it goes. The bottom line is, I love singing. I'm going to sing my whole life - whether it's in the shower, at a local venue with my family and friends, or if it's in God's plan, on a big stage in front of thousands of people. God gave me the ability to sing, so I'm going to use it!
I hope we can all find our happiness and shine!

"Sara Gray is a one of a kind performer! I get chills whenever she belts out the National Anthem at the Nationals games."

"Sara Gray has been a National Anthem vocalist and a friend of the Washington Capitals for over five years. In her time serving as a semi-regular anthemist for the Capitals, Sara has been someone I have come to know and respect, not only as a performer, but also as a radiant personality. She always carries herself with the utmost professionalism and grace, and it makes a positive impact on everyone she meets. We at the Capitals are proud to have Sara represent our team as she, quite literally, takes center stage for us year after year."
-Tyler Hines, Entertainment Coordinator,
Washington Capitals
"I was enjoying a meal at a restaurant and heard this amazing voice singing "Landslide," by Stevie Nicks. Blown away, I had to get up and walk around the corner to see who it was and that's when I saw Sara. She continues to knock me out every time she sings!"
